Build process

Phase One
The preliminary stage
The preliminary stage is where it all begins. At this stage, we’ll sit down with you to understand your needs, your goals, your lifestyle, and your budget.
We’ll visit the site, check any requirements that need to be considered, and start shaping early concept designs (if you haven’t come to us with plans). If you already have plans, that’s great: we’ll review your finishes and inclusions and prepare a Preliminary Estimate. This usually takes around two days, and we’ll arrange a time to walk you through the costing so you feel clear and confident about the next step.
While your estimate is being prepared, it’s a good time to explore finance options and chat with your lender about pre-approval. Once you’re ready, you can either move forward with stamped BA plans for the Fixed Price Stage, or let us manage this stage for you. In the meantime, take a moment to relax, jot down your ideas, and get excited for what’s ahead.

Phase Two
The build
This is the final step before construction, and by now, you’re ready to see your plans come to life. We allow up to four weeks for this stage, during which we’ll send you an invoice for the required approvals and provide necessary documentation for you to sign, allowing HiVis Built to act on your behalf. From there, our team takes care of liaising with all the necessary parties to ensure every approval and requirement is in place.
Then we move straight into the build, where our care and precision becomes even more evident. Every element of your project is managed to the highest standard, with close attention to detail.
Throughout the entire process, we keep you in the loop with clear communication and regular progress updates. You’ll always know where things stand, what’s happening next, and how your home is progressing. Every client will receive at least one proactive check-in per week, providing updates, answering questions, and offering peace of mind from start to finish.

Phase Three
Handover & beyond
Your journey with HiVis Built doesn’t end the day you get the keys.
We stand by the quality of our work with a warranty and defect period, giving you complete peace of mind that your home is built to last. A few months down the track, we will also check in with you, because we genuinely care about how you’re settling in, not just the handover moment.
Our contracts are clear and thorough to avoid surprises, but we also know that life (and building) can sometimes throw us challenges. That’s why we stay flexible and work with you to resolve any issues fairly, openly, and transparently – so you always feel supported long after your build is complete.
